I’m upgrading a pay-and-display car park and need bespoke POS software that makes payment effortless for drivers and back-office control simple for me. Core flow • Touch-friendly screen prompts let a customer enter their vehicle registration, choose time, pay, and immediately receive a printed ticket. • The system must drive a Square payment terminal, accepting credit/debit cards, mobile wallets and all common contactless options without extra taps. • Transactions record instantly and feed a real-time dashboard so I can see takings by hour, day, or custom range, exportable as CSV. Management tools I’d like basic user management (admin, supervisor, cashier) with activity logs, plus the ability to adjust pricing bands or add promo codes without calling a developer. The database and API structure should remain open for future ANPR integration—flagging expired plates automatically will be the next phase, so clean, documented endpoints are essential. Deliverables - Installable POS application (Windows, Android tablet or web-based—open to advice) fully integrated with Square SDK for payments and a standard thermal ticket printer. - Real-time reporting dashboard with export. - Role-based user management interface. - Setup guide and brief hand-off session. I’ll run a live test in the car park: process at least a few transactions with different payment types, verify ticket output, and confirm data appears in the dashboard within 30 seconds. Passing that test and handing over documented source or deployment package. But this is subject to at least 12 months support for the POS for any ongoing issues and development.
