Descripción de la oferta

I regularly produce and update information-technology manuals, user guides, and short knowledge-base articles that must be available in more than one language. Every file varies in size—from a handful of sentences to full-length documents—but they all share two non-negotiables: the terminology has to stay precise, and the finished text must read as if it were originally written in the target language. Most of the work involves technical content, so you should feel at home with IT jargon, acronyms, and product-specific wording. While many of the requests revolve around English-to-Spanish, Spanish-to-French, or French-to-English hand-offs, I’m open to other pairings you may specialise in; just let me know your strengths when you respond. How we’ll work • I’ll drop each source file (usually Word, Markdown, or occasional PDF) into our shared folder along with any reference glossaries. • You return a clean, fully formatted translation plus a tracked-changes copy when formatting is critical. • Deadlines are agreed per file, typically a two- to three-day turnaround for short pieces and a week for larger manuals. Acceptance criteria 1. Terminology aligns with the provided glossary or standard IT usage. 2. Grammar, syntax, and tone feel natural to a native reader. 3. Original layout, headings, and code snippets remain intact. If you’re comfortable juggling part-time volumes and can demonstrate accuracy on IT subjects, I’d like to build a long-term rhythm with you.
