Job Description: We are launching a brand-new, narrative-driven true crime YouTube channel and are looking for a reliable, talented video editor to join us for a long-term partnership. If you understand how to build suspense, manage pacing for audience retention, and weave compelling visuals together, we want to work with you! What We Provide: Fully written scripts Professional voice-over audio files Selected images, clips, and general asset guidance Your Responsibilities: Put together a cohesive, engaging final video by matching visuals to the voiceover. Source clean B-roll, maps, archival photos, and supporting media to keep viewers hooked. Apply clean text, captions, and motion graphics where necessary. Maintain strong pacing, suspense, and sound design (BGM and SFX) matching a true crime tone. Requirements: Proven experience editing long-form true crime or documentary-style content for YouTube. Strong understanding of YouTube retention strategies and pacing. Proficiency with standard editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
