JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist by performing certain technical functions associated with drug distribution in accordance with specific provisions, standards, and Pharmacy Business and Professions Code. Dependent upon assignment, the principal areas of drug distribution may include unit dose, intravenous and oral drug compounding, TPN preparation, inventory control, automated dispensing equipment and related duties, as required.…
