Descripción de la oferta

I’m running a commercial off-the-shelf application whose back-end is a PostgreSQL database. All image assets live inside the tables in a proprietary, native format, and I now have to extract every file to disk so they can be used as regular JPEG, PNG or TIFF images. What I need from you is a small, well-documented set of scripts—SQL to query the right tables plus a helper utility (Python, Bash or any portable language you prefer)—that will: • Locate every image record, read the binary/native data and write it out to disk • Convert or rename the output so it ends up as standard JPEG, PNG or TIFF, preserving original metadata wherever possible • Organise the exported files into a sensible folder structure (by ID or timestamp) • Produce a simple log that lists each file written and flags any failures or corrupt blobs Acceptance criteria 1. Running one command should export the full image set without manual intervention. 2. A README explains prerequisites, how to point the script at another database, and how to change output formats. 3. All code is clean, commented and ready to run on Linux with PostgreSQL client tools installed. The database is accessible, and I can supply a schema diagram plus a small anonymised dump for testing. Let me know what language you’d like to use and your timeline; I’m ready to get started right away.
