I’m creating a lively picture book for children aged 3-5 that follows a gentle, engaging adventure—something toddlers can giggle through while parents enjoy reading aloud. The finished story should run roughly 500 words, paced for 18-24 pages, with language simple enough for pre-readers yet rich in rhythm and repetition. I’d like the visuals to match the tone, so every page needs clear guidance—or finished artwork—in a bright, cartoonish style with expressive characters and bold, friendly colours. If you illustrate yourself, wonderful; if writing is your focus, please include a concise art brief I can hand to a separate illustrator. To wrap things up smoothly, I’ll need: • The full manuscript, edited and ready for print. • A page-by-page breakdown that pairs text with illustration notes. • Either completed high-resolution illustrations in layered PSD/AI files or detailed briefs for each scene. Once these elements are in hand and flow well together, the project is complete.
