Python / Django Job Scraper Web App (Source Code Purchase + Customization or Full Build) Project Overview We are looking for an experienced developer or agency to build or customize a web-based Job Data Scraping & Management Application built on Python and Django. We want a tool that allows users to log in, select target job sites/categories, run web scrapers, preview extracted job data, and export clean records directly to Excel or Google Sheets. We are open to purchasing an existing scraping web app template/source code (e.g., from CodeCanyon or similar platforms) and customizing it, or doing a fully custom build using Python & Django. Please indicate which approach you recommend in your proposal. Key Requirements & Features 1. User Authentication & Access Control Secure user login and multi-user access (e.g., username/password authentication). Role/user-based workspace to track individual scraping activities and history. 2. Web Scraping & Extraction Engine Tech Stack: Python with Django backend. Scraping powered by BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright (must handle dynamic JavaScript pages smoothly). User interface to select: Target URL / Job Portal Scrape Scope / Max Pages Job Category / Industry Real-time scraping status/progress bar and clear error-handling notifications. 3. Data Storage & Management Dashboard Interactive dashboard ("Previous Records") displaying extracted job listings. Captured fields include: Company Name, Position/Role, Posting Date, Location, Salary, Job Type, Contact Details (Phone/Email), Description, and Source Link. Option to clear, filter, or bulk-delete historical scraped records. 4. Export Capabilities One-Click Excel Download: Export selected or all records to formatted .xlsx files. Direct compatibility/formatting for easy transfer or auto-sync into Google Sheets. 5. Deployment & Delivery Clean code repository (GitHub/GitLab) with setup documentation. Easy deployment configuration for local or cloud server hosting. Full source code ownership and modification rights upon completion.
