I need a small Python module that uses Prisma as its ORM layer while talking to an external SOAP API so routine tasks can run without any manual input. The SOAP endpoints return fairly standard XML from a public-facing WSDL; once the data is received, the script should feed it through my existing Prisma models, trigger the relevant mutations, and then push the results back to the same service. Here is what matters most: • The whole flow must be fully automated—no prompts, pauses, or UI interaction. • Connection handling and reconnection logic should be solid; the SOAP service occasionally times out. • Map every SOAP field to the correct Prisma schema property and keep the mapping easy to extend. • Log successes and failures in a simple, readable way (file or console is fine). • Deliver a concise README with setup steps (virtualenv, Prisma generate, WSDL location, how to run). Acceptance criteria – Running `python main.py` (or similar) retrieves data from the SOAP API, updates the database through Prisma, and exits cleanly. – If the API is unavailable, the script retries with exponential back-off and ultimately records the failure without crashing. – Code passes `flake8` and includes at least one unit test covering the mapping logic.
