Our Android & iOS marketplace app is live and growing fast; now I need a rock-solid automated test suite to keep releases safe and smooth. The feature set is broad—registration/login, product browsing, cart, order management, push notifications, profiles—but your first mission is crystal-clear: safeguard the entire checkout and payment integrations flow. You’ll own the full setup: selecting the most effective mobile-friendly framework (Selenium, Appium, TestComplete or another you can justify), configuring device coverage, writing maintainable scripts, and wiring everything into our CI pipeline so tests run on every build. Clear, actionable reporting is essential; I want to see failures pinpointed down to the step. Deliverables • Automated test suite focused on checkout & payment (with room to extend to other flows) • Environment/config files and documentation so any team member can run the suite locally or via CI • Initial run report plus guidance on interpreting future results Scope of Work 1. Automation Framework Setup Recommend and implement a suitable automation testing framework. Support both Android and iOS platforms. Create a scalable and maintainable test automation architecture. Integrate reporting and test execution dashboards. 2. Test Case Automation Automate critical user journeys including: User Authentication -Sign Up -Login / Logout -Forgot Password -OTP Verification Product Discovery -Product Listing -Search Functionality -Filters & Sorting -Product Detail Page Cart & Checkout -Add to Cart -Update Quantity -Remove Product -Apply Coupon -Checkout Process Payments -Payment Gateway Validation -Successful Transactions -Failed Transactions -Order Confirmation User Account -Profile Management -Address Management -Order History -Wishlist 3. Regression Test Suite Build a complete regression suite for major application workflows. Ensure reusability for future releases. 4. Reporting & Documentation Automated test reports. Test execution summary. Defect reporting. Documentation for framework setup and execution process. Technical Requirements Preferred experience with: Appium Selenium BrowserStack / LambdaTest TestNG / JUnit Java, JavaScript, or Python CI/CD Integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.) Deliverables Complete automation testing framework. Automated test scripts for critical user journeys. Test execution reports. Defect report with screenshots/videos. Documentation and handover session.
