Freelance Quality Control & Production Inspection Specialist Needed – Chengdu, China We are a luxury footwear and handbag brand looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) & Production Inspection Specialist based in or near Chengdu, China. This will be an ongoing collaboration for someone who can represent our brand during the manufacturing process and ensure that every product meets our quality standards. Responsibilities * Visit footwear factories in and around Chengdu during production. * Conduct mid-production inspections to identify any quality issues before manufacturing is completed. * Perform final quality inspections once production is finished and before shipment. * Check workmanship, stitching, leather quality, finishing, hardware, sizing, color consistency, packaging, and overall craftsmanship. * Compare finished products against our reference samples, specifications, and quality requirements. * Record clear photos and detailed videos during factory visits. * Film the production process, including cutting, stitching, lasting, assembly, finishing, quality control, and packing, so we can monitor manufacturing remotely. * Immediately report any defects, inconsistencies, or production concerns with detailed documentation. * Communicate directly with factory staff when required to clarify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken. * Submit a written inspection report after every visit, along with all photos and videos. Requirements * Must be located in or able to travel easily to Chengdu, China. * Previous experience in footwear quality control, factory inspections, or manufacturing supervision is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, stitching, finishing, and production processes. * Excellent attention to detail. * Able to communicate effectively with factory personnel. * Able to capture high-quality photos and videos using a smartphone or camera. * Reliable, professional, and responsive. Project Type This is not a one-time project. We are looking for a long-term partner who can conduct inspections whenever production is scheduled.
