Descripción de la oferta

I am developing a handheld product called TracePen. The goal is to let a user physically trace around an object, template, floor pattern, wall, boat surface, fabric pattern, or other shape and automatically create an accurately dimensioned 2D vector/DXF file. I already have a working prototype, but the positional accuracy is not good enough yet. Current prototype The current system uses: PAA5100JE optical-flow sensor BNO08X IMU ESP32-C3 for sensor processing ESP32-2432S028R touchscreen board MicroSD storage Battery-powered handheld housing Firmware that records X/Y movement and creates vector data The biggest current problem is that the PAA5100JE does not track consistently when looking directly at different surfaces without a ball. Surface texture, reflections, sensor height, pen tilt, pen rotation, sensor-to-tip offset, and accumulated drift can all cause dimensional errors. I am not only looking for somebody to rewrite the current firmware. I need experienced engineers who can review the complete tracking method and propose a more accurate solution. I plan to hire 3–4 engineers I plan to hire approximately three or four engineers separately for paid independent concept reviews. Each person can propose a different solution. After reviewing the concepts, I may hire one or more engineers for prototype development, firmware, mechanical design, PCB design, and testing. The first phase is primarily an engineering review and concept-development project. You do not need to build the complete finished product during the first phase. What I need you to investigate
