I’m building MediCare+, a medicine-reminder web app in React that must help elderly users, chronic-illness patients and the general public remember every dose. The core experience revolves around three must-have features: real-time browser notifications, audible alerts, and full installable PWA behaviour so the app runs offline and can live on a user’s home screen like a native app. I already have the concept and user flow sketched; what I need now is the complete React implementation with a simple, clear interface that keeps font sizes generous, colours high-contrast and navigation friction-free. You’ll wire push notifications (Web Push / service workers), integrate reliable sound cues, and wrap everything in a standards-compliant PWA (manifest, service-worker caching, offline fallback). Bring your knowledge of React hooks, Context or Redux for state, and any lightweight component library you feel suits an accessibility-first approach. Deliverables • Full React source in a Git repo • Production build ready for deployment • Tested PWA install prompt across Chrome, Edge, Safari (mobile & desktop) • Working push notifications and sound alerts triggered by scheduled doses • Brief README covering setup, build and how to add new medications Acceptance criteria The app must: 1. Send a notification and play a sound at the exact scheduled time, even when the tab is closed. 2. Install successfully as a PWA and launch offline with cached UI. 3. Pass Lighthouse PWA and accessibility audits at 90 %+.
