Descripción de la oferta
I need a production-ready React application that puts real-time weather updates front and center. The build must integrate a reliable public API to stream current temperature and conditions, push severe-weather alerts the moment they are issued, and display live radar/maps without noticeable lag. Core flow Users land on a clean, responsive interface that instantly detects their location (with permission) and shows the latest data. They can also search any city. Preferences—chosen units, favorite locations, dark/light theme—should persist via localStorage so the experience feels personal on every visit and across devices. Interactive layer Beyond the headline data, an hourly breakdown for the next 24 hours needs to appear in a scrollable ribbon. Swiping or arrow keys should navigate hours smoothly, giving quick context on how the day will unfold. Essential deliverables • React SPA (create-react-app, Vite, or Next.js—your call) • API wiring for: – Current temperature & conditions – Instant severe-weather alerts – Live radar / map tiles (Leaflet, Mapbox, or similar) • Hourly forecast component with responsive design • LocalStorage hooks for user preferences • Polished UI/UX that adapts from mobile to desktop • Well-commented code and concise README with setup notes Acceptance criteria 1. Fresh install, run, and build commands work on Node 18+. 2. Switching locations returns updated data in <2 s on a 4G connection. 3. Alert banner appears automatically when the API sends a warning. 4. Radar tiles load and pan smoothly on a mid-range smartphone. 5. Lighthouse mobile performance score ≥90. If this aligns with your skill set and you can deliver clean, maintainable code, I’m ready to get started.
