I’m building a personal-use dashboard that streams live option-chain data and displays it in a clean, interactive interface. The key requirement is genuine real-time updates; latency over a couple of seconds defeats the purpose. Historical analysis, custom alerts and similar extras can be added later, but the first milestone must prove a stable live feed, automatic refresh, and intuitive visualization (think sortable tables, quick filters, Greeks at a glance). To be sure we’re on the same page, please anchor the build on an API you already know how to keep in sync—feel free to suggest your preferred data source or a creative workaround if exchanges limit access. A lightweight web stack is fine; Python (FastAPI or Django), Node, or any other reliable backend is acceptable as long as the front end remains speedy and responsive. Deliverables • Working web dashboard with real-time option-chain updating • Source code and brief setup notes so I can run it locally • A short screen-capture demo proving update speed under live conditions I’m selecting purely on proven experience, so link me to past work that shows you have solved similar “live market data” challenges before.
