I’m putting together a new piece of comedy content and I need a thumbnail that feels instantly laugh-worthy yet grounded in realism. Think vibrant movie-poster energy rather than a cartoon or abstract sketch. The finished artwork must balance three focal points: expressive character images front and centre, a punchy text/title treatment that sells the joke at a glance, and background details that support the humour without stealing focus. If you’ve built thumbnails, posters, or key art in a realistic style before, that experience will be the deciding factor for me—please highlight it. A short note on the tools you prefer (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) is helpful but not mandatory; I care more about the result than the software.
