I’m preparing a Kickstarter launch for a book and need a single, finished illustration of an aquatic alien that resembles an octopus. I’ll share text excerpts from my manuscript—plus reference images I generated earlier—to show exactly which anatomical details must stay, and which visual approaches definitely do not work. The piece has to feel believable, almost scientific-illustration level, yet still other-worldly. I want it executed entirely by hand in pencil, not assisted by any AI or photo-bashing. (Kickstarter is firm on this requirement.) A clean, plain background keeps the focus on the creature and lets me drop the art onto different layouts. Deliverables • High-resolution scan (minimum 600 dpi) in both TIFF and PNG so I can scale from thumbnail to poster without loss. • A lightly compressed JPEG optimized for the Kickstarter thumbnail. • Confirmation that every stroke is original, human-drawn, and royalty-free for commercial use. Acceptance criteria The final image must match my written spec, reproduce well at 60 × 60 px and at 18 × 24 in, and pass a reverse-image search for uniqueness. Must not be cartoonish. If you love precision pencil work and creature concept design, this will be a fun, focused commission. I shall not respond in the first 24 hours after this goes live.
