Regional Multi-Seller eCommerce Platform

I need a full-featured, multi-vendor web shop that serves buyers and sellers operating within one local city or town. The marketplace must let a buyer place products from several different sellers into a single cart, pay once via Electronic Fund Transfer, and then split the payment automatically so each seller’s share is released only after the buyer confirms delivery or collection. Core workflow • Buyer fills a mixed cart → pays once by EFT (no third-party gateway). • Platform withholds a small percentage calculated success fee and queues the seller’s payout. • After the buyer confirms “order received,” the admin manually releases funds to the seller’s registered bank account and immediately automatically marks the listing as sold. • Must be easy for one admin to manage. Product scope Sellers will list both physical items (to be collected or hand-delivered) and digital goods that can be downloaded once payment clears. No courier plugins or shipping rate calculators are required; sellers either deliver themselves or arrange local pickup. Authentication & buyer/seller onboarding Please implement the following credentials and verifications: • Email and password • Phone number verification (SMS/OTP) • Identity document / driver’s licence upload • Bank account details capture for payouts • Physical Address for deliveries / collections Administrative needs An admin console must let me review new seller applications, set or adjust the per-sale fee, view transaction logs, and manually override releases if disputes arise. Should be managed by 1 person only. Deliverables 1. Responsive web application with separate buyer, seller, and admin views 2. Secure database schema covering products, orders, fee ledger, KYC docs, and payouts 3. Automated fee deduction and staged fund-release logic tied to delivery confirmation 4. Source code, deployment instructions, and short hand-over session Acceptance criteria • Single-checkout cart correctly allocates revenue across multiple sellers. • Tracked progress emails automatically sent • Funds remain on hold until the buyer confirmation triggers a manual payout. • User accounts operate only with the authentication methods listed above. • Listings flip to “sold” status immediately after each successful transaction. Laravel, Django, Node.js, or a comparable stack is fine as long as it is well-documented, secure, and easy for a small admin team to manage. Confirm that you have read and understand the website requirements. Relevant questions are welcome.
