LiDAR Annotation Specialist (Remote, Freelance) Job Type: Freelance / Contract Location: Remote Schedule: Minimum 6 hours/day, 30 hours/week (fixed working hours) About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented LiDAR Annotation Specialist to join our team on a remote, freelance basis. You'll work on labeling 3D point cloud data used to train perception and navigation models for robotics and autonomous systems. Responsibilities Annotate LiDAR point cloud data with accurate 3D bounding boxes and object classifications Identify and label objects such as vehicles, pedestrians, lanes, and structures Maintain consistency and precision across large annotation batches Meet daily and weekly productivity targets Flag ambiguous or edge cases to the QA/review team Follow annotation guidelines and adapt to feedback quickly Requirements Prior experience in point cloud, image, or video annotation (robotics/AV experience a plus) Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail Familiarity with annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, Scale AI, SuperAnnotate) preferred Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free remote work setup Ability to commit to fixed daily hours (min. 6 hrs/day, 30 hrs/week) Self-motivated with strong time management skills
