I need a set of decorative wooden beams installed to give my space a warm, rustic character. The final look should echo old-world timber framing—visible grain, light distressing, and authentic-looking joinery rather than a sleek, modern surface. The job includes sourcing solid wood or producing quality box-beams that convincingly mimic solid timber, preparing any necessary blocking in the ceiling, securely mounting the beams, and finishing them with a medium-dark stain plus a clear protective coat. All cuts, fastening methods, and finishing work must leave no visible screws or brackets once complete. You will bring the tools, hardware, and finishing products; I will clear the room and provide ladder access. Once the beams are up, I expect a quick wipe-down of the surrounding area so the room is ready for furniture the same day.
