I’m building a Python-based web application and now need a robust module that can turn any custom ID card design into a live, data-driven card. Once a template is designed, I want to drop new data into it—name, department, photo, even a QR code—and instantly receive a finished card in PNG, PDF or JPEG. Key points of the build • Multiple templates: each layout saved once and reused without touching code. • Dynamic fields: text, images and QR codes must map cleanly to placeholder positions. • Output quality: print-ready files at high resolution in all three formats (PNG, PDF, JPEG); single cards or bulk batches generated with equal ease. • Scalability: new templates should plug in with minimal configuration as our catalogue grows. • Maintainability: clear architecture, sensible folder structure, and concise documentation so future developers can extend the system.
