Project description Vendé Group is seeking an experienced business development, sales or lead-generation professional to identify, approach and secure suitable metropolitan Sydney locations for our premium vending machines. Our immediate priority is expanding Vendé Collect, our collectables vending-machine range featuring products such as: - Pokémon trading cards - One Piece trading cards - Other sealed trading-card and collectable products We also operate Vendé Select, offering snacks and drinks for workplaces and other high-traffic environments. Suitable locations For Vendé Collect, suitable venues may include shopping centres, arcades, cinemas, entertainment venues, indoor sporting centres, universities, family attractions, busy retail precincts and other secure locations with strong foot traffic. For Vendé Select, we are interested in factories, warehouses, offices, transport depots, gyms, hotels, hospitals and large workplaces, particularly those with multiple shifts or limited access to food and drinks. What the freelancer will do The successful freelancer will: - Research and identify suitable venues - Contact the relevant owner, manager or decision-maker - Present the vending-machine opportunity professionally - Qualify the location based on foot traffic, demographics, security, accessibility and operating hours - Determine whether the venue has genuine interest - Introduce Vendé Group to the decision-maker - Assist with progressing discussions until a location agreement is signed Venues will not be required to purchase the machine. Depending on the site, we may offer the premises either weekly rent or a revenue-share arrangement. Vendé Group will provide machine information, photographs, specifications, product details, commercial parameters and supporting presentation material. Payment The project budget is $500 AUD for one successfully secured location. A location will be considered successfully secured when: - It meets Vendé Group’s suitability requirements - The authorised decision-maker has agreed to host the machine - A written location agreement has been signed - The site is suitable and available for installation Payment is for a completed and approved result. It is not payable for lists of businesses, general research, unqualified leads or introductions where the venue has not agreed to proceed. Additional approved locations will be paid through separate $500 milestones, creating the opportunity for ongoing work. Ideal candidate We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in: - Business development - Commercial sales - Lead generation - Retail or shopping-centre leasing - Vending-machine site acquisition - Cold calling and appointment setting - Negotiating with venue owners and managers Knowledge of the Australian retail, entertainment, manufacturing or commercial-property sectors would be highly regarded.
