About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Solana Blockchain Engineer to help review, architect, and enhance an existing Solana-based token project. The current platform includes core token functionality and wallet integration. We are planning the next phase of development to evolve the project into a more comprehensive Web3 ecosystem featuring staking, governance, treasury management, analytics, and community-driven functionality. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys both hands-on development and high-level architectural decision-making. Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership Review the existing Solana codebase and architecture Evaluate smart contract design and security Identify scalability and performance improvements Define technical standards and best practices Create a development roadmap and implementation strategy Blockchain Development Design and develop Solana programs using Rust and Anchor Framework Implement staking and rewards mechanisms Design governance and voting systems Build treasury management functionality Integrate wallet connectivity and transaction workflows Improve smart contract security and testing coverage Collaboration Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions Produce technical documentation and implementation guidelines Support deployment and maintenance activities Technical Requirements Required Skills 4+ years of software engineering experience 2+ years of blockchain development experience Strong Solana development experience Advanced Rust programming skills Anchor Framework expertise SPL Token experience Smart contract testing and security knowledge Experience building production-grade Web3 applications Git and collaborative development workflows Preferred Skills Staking protocol development DAO governance systems Treasury management solutions NFT ecosystem development DeFi protocol development Wallet integrations Cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience Smart contract auditing experience Open-source blockchain contributions Initial Project Scope The first phase of the engagement focuses on reviewing and improving the existing project.
