Our retail operation needs an experienced hand to take full ownership of supplier sourcing. The role centers on identifying, qualifying, and onboarding both local and international vendors so that our product mix stays competitive on cost, quality, and speed to shelf. You will step straight into an environment that values clear data, decisive action, and measured savings. Day-to-day work means scanning the market, benchmarking prices, visiting factories or showrooms when required, and turning your findings into actionable sourcing strategies. Contract negotiation and inventory control are handled by other teams, so your energy remains focused on building and refreshing the supplier pipeline. To know we are on track, I will consider the job a success when: • A vetted shortlist of primary and secondary suppliers is delivered for each key product category. • Comparative cost analyses highlight projected savings or margin improvements. • A 90-day roadmap shows timelines for sample approvals, compliance checks, and onboarding. Proficiency with common e-procurement tools, a knack for cultivating supplier relationships across cultures, and the confidence to present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership are essential.
