We are an established digital-marketing agency based in Toronto, Canada with an opportunity to add another freelancer project manager to the team. We are a full service agency serving SMBs, and much of our work centres on SEO, and now increasingly AI SEO. Social media and email marketing management are also frequently part of a client file. We have expert SEO consultants, writers and website developers on the team. The project manager takes full ownership of a client file, managing the talent required to produce outstanding results monthly, produces the client monthly report and attends the monthly client meeting. Our client work boosts website traffic and produces quality leads. Your role will revolve around building and steering a clear growth roadmap: planning keyword clusters, briefing writers, coordinating designers, and pushing each piece live while keeping technical SEO checkpoints tight. I already have writers, editors, and a dev team; what’s missing is the person who keeps every sprint on time, measures results in Google Analytics/Search Console, and adjusts strategy when data or algorithms shift. Key deliverables • 90-day SEO & content calendar with traffic targets • Weekly sprint board (Trello) showing task status for all stakeholders • Either produce or engage the SEO consultant in developing detailed content briefs that blend human expertise with AI keyword suggestions • Monthly performance report to client summarizing traffic gains, ranking movements, and next steps & attendance at a monthly Zoom meeting with them Acceptance criteria A minimum of 10 years experience in digital marketing Strong level knowledge of SEO and AI SEO Strong writing skills Strong Wordpress skills Fluent in English. Fluency in French a bonus. Current experience in the LLMs, with ChatGPT or Claude including working with agents Tools already in place—Semrush Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, ChatGPT, Claude. Communication happens in Trello & Microsoft Teams.
