I need a small-scale demo website that convincingly shows e-commerce functionality. The goal is not to launch a full store but to demonstrate the flow a real shop would follow: landing on the home page, browsing sample products, and completing a mock checkout. Feel free to use any modern stack you are comfortable with—WordPress + WooCommerce, Shopify dev store, or a lightweight React/Next.js setup with a headless cart—so long as the result looks polished and runs smoothly on a standard shared host. Core objectives • Deploy a responsive, visually appealing storefront with placeholder products and categories. • Connect the necessary back-end pieces so the add-to-cart and checkout steps work in demo mode (a sandbox or test payment gateway is fine). • Hand over admin credentials and a brief README describing how to swap imagery, edit product data, and push the site to a different host if needed. I care most about clarity of the user journey: clean navigation, logical product pages, and a confirmation screen after “payment.” Animation, advanced filtering, or deep inventory logic can wait until later phases; for now, the demo simply needs to make the process tangible.
