I’m looking to turn my HD-D16 into a true external monitor for a tablet. The aim is simple: the moment the tablet connects, the screen should be able to display Text and number representing a weight of an item . the HD-D16, is connected to wifi or ethernet or usb .. resolution is not important and it will be good if the unit behaves exactly like a standard secondary screen , if not just to display numbers and text. If firmware tweaks, an Android / iPad dashboard app, or a lightweight HTML page make the workflow smoother, please incorporate that as well. Deliverables • A concise, tablet-specific setup guide covering wiring, input selection, and display settings for the HD-D16 • Any configuration files, sample HTML, or app templates that render the numbers and text full-screen and crystal-clear • A quick test checklist to confirm the tablet recognises the HD-D16 and the content updates in real time The project is finished when I can plug in the tablet, power up the HD-D16, and immediately see my numeric data with the accompanying text—no distortion, no scaling issues, just a clean, reliable display. Experience with display controllers, HDMI / USB-C video output, and simple multimedia dashboards will be essential.
