Project Overview: I need a peer-to-peer rental marketplace for agricultural equipment (tractors, harvesters, implements, etc.) built on Sharetribe. Equipment owners list their machinery for rent; renters browse, book, and pay through the platform. Payments handled via Stripe (Stripe Connect). Priority: fast launch with a clean, template-based setup. I want a working MVP close to Sharetribe's standard rental template — not a heavily custom build. Simplicity and speed over complexity. Platform: - Built on Sharetribe (no-code / SaaS version preferred for speed). - Standard Sharetribe rental transaction flow. - Stripe Connect for payments (built-in Sharetribe integration). Core Features (MVP scope): 1. User accounts — sign-up/login for both owners (lessors) and renters, single account type that can do both. 2. Listings — equipment owners can create listings with: - Photos, title, description - Custom fields: equipment type/category, brand/model, power (HP), year, location - Pricing per day (and/or per hour/week) - Availability calendar 3. Search & filters — by category, location, price, availability, equipment type. 4. Booking flow — renters select dates, request/book, standard Sharetribe booking process. 5. Payments via Stripe Connect — renter pays, platform takes a commission, payout to owner. Include security deposit handling if available out-of-the-box. 6. Reviews & ratings — mutual reviews after completed rentals. 7. Messaging — built-in buyer/seller messaging. 8. Commission — platform commission on each transaction (I'll specify %). 9. Basic branding — logo, colors, landing page text, custom domain connection. Design: - Use Sharetribe's standard template design with light branding (logo, color scheme, landing content). - No custom UI/UX design needed for MVP. Clean and functional. What I will provide: - Sharetribe account (or you set it up and transfer ownership). - Logo and brand colors. - Category list and custom field requirements. - Stripe account details. - Domain name. Deliverables: 1. Fully configured, working Sharetribe marketplace. 2. Stripe Connect payments live and tested (test transaction demonstrated). 3. Custom fields, categories, and search filters configured. 4. Branding applied + custom domain connected. 5. A completed test booking end-to-end (listing → booking → payment → payout). 6. Short handover doc / walkthrough on how to manage the marketplace. Requirements for Freelancer: - Proven experience with Sharetribe (please share previous Sharetribe marketplaces you've built — links). - Experience configuring Stripe Connect on Sharetribe. - Ability to set up custom fields and rental transaction flows. - Clear communication in English. Timeline & Budget: - Target: MVP launch within [2–4 weeks]. - Please provide: your estimated timeline, fixed price (or hourly + estimate), and relevant portfolio links.
