I need a new Shopify store built from the ground up to sell customised gift items. Every product must let the customer type their own message for text engraving or printing, and that text has to travel cleanly from the product page through checkout and into the order details I see in the admin panel. Theme and layout • Clean, modern design that highlights personalisation • Mobile-first responsiveness with fast load times • Simple navigation so shoppers reach the custom text field in as few clicks as possible Product template requirements • Prominent “Your Message” input box (single-line and multi-line options) • Real-time character counter to prevent overruns • Validation so empty fields cannot be added to cart • Clear preview or confirmation step before checkout (a basic text preview is fine; no image rendering is required right now) Store setup essentials • Core pages: Home, Shop, About, FAQ, Contact • Payment, shipping and tax configured for immediate launch • Basic on-page SEO and Google Analytics connection • App selection or light custom code—whichever gives the smoothest text-personalisation workflow without monthly over-spend Timing I want to go live quickly, so please outline how soon you can deliver a working site and what, if anything, you’ll need from me on day one (product copy, photos, etc.). Acceptance criteria 1. I can create a new product, tick “Allow custom text,” and the text box appears automatically. 2. A test order shows the entered text on the order screen and in the customer’s confirmation email. 3. Store passes Shopify’s PageSpeed and mobile usability checks.
