Shopify Developer Needed for GCC-Exclusive Perfumes & Beauty Sections with Split Orders and Shipping

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to add two new sections to our existing luxury e-commerce store: 1. Perfumes 2. Beauty These products will be supplied from within the GCC and available exclusively to customers in: * Kuwait * Saudi Arabia * UAE * Qatar * Bahrain * Oman Our store currently sells products supplied from Italy using existing shipping rates and fulfilment arrangements. The new GCC products will have a separate shipping charge and supplier workflow. Customers must be able to purchase Italian and GCC products within the same cart and complete one checkout. However, the products must be processed as separate shipments/orders based on their supply location. Scope of Work 1. Create Perfumes and Beauty Sections Create two professionally designed top-level store sections: * Perfumes * Beauty They must be integrated into the existing navigation, homepage, search, collections and filters while matching the store’s current luxury design. Suggested categories may include: Perfumes: * Women * Men * Unisex * Niche Perfumes * Gift Sets * Home Fragrances Beauty: * Skincare * Makeup * Haircare * Bath & Body * Beauty Tools * Gift Sets The final categories will depend on the available products. 2. GCC-Exclusive Availability Perfumes and Beauty products must be available for purchase only in GCC countries. Customers outside the GCC should not be able to purchase these products. The restriction should apply to: * Collections and search results * Product pages * Cart * Checkout * Delivery-country validation The developer should use Shopify Markets, catalogs or another reliable Shopify-compatible solution. Customers must not be able to bypass the restriction through a direct product link or by changing their delivery country at checkout. 3. Product and Supplier Classification The store must distinguish between: * Products supplied from Italy * Products supplied from the GCC A reliable classification structure should be created using Shopify vendors, tags, metafields, inventory locations or collections. This classification will determine the correct: * Shipping rate * Supplier * Fulfilment location * Order-routing process The structure must allow us to add more GCC suppliers later without rebuilding the system. 4. GCC Shipping Rate A flat shipping charge of 5 KWD must apply to GCC-supplied Perfumes and Beauty products delivered within GCC countries. This must remain separate from the existing shipping rates for Italian products. The current Italian shipping rates and fulfilment workflow must not be changed or disrupted. 5. Mixed-Cart Shipping Customers must be able to place Italian and GCC products in the same cart and complete one checkout. Example: A customer purchases: * One fashion product supplied from Italy * One perfume supplied from Kuwait At checkout, the customer must be charged: * The applicable Italian shipping rate * Plus the 5 KWD GCC shipping rate Both shipping charges must be calculated correctly and clearly shown before payment. 6. Split-Order and Fulfilment Workflow After payment, a mixed cart must be separated operationally into two orders, sub-orders or fulfilment groups: Italian Order: * Contains only Italian-supplied products * Uses the existing Italian shipping and fulfilment process * Is routed to the relevant Italian supplier GCC Order: * Contains only GCC-supplied Perfumes and Beauty products * Uses the 5 KWD GCC shipping charge * Is routed to the appropriate GCC supplier or fulfilment location The preferred customer experience is: * One cart * One checkout * One payment * Separate shipments * Separate tracking updates If Shopify cannot create two completely separate order numbers from one checkout without an application or custom integration, the developer must recommend a suitable alternative using sub-orders, fulfilment orders or another reliable structure. 7. Supplier Order Routing Each supplier must receive or access only the products assigned to them. GCC suppliers must not see Italian products, and Italian suppliers must not see GCC products. Each supplier should receive the information required to fulfil their part of the order, including: * Relevant products and quantities * Customer delivery details * Shipping method * Order reference * Relevant product options The developer must configure the required supplier notifications, fulfilment locations or order-routing process. 8. Customer Order Information Customers with mixed orders must clearly see: * Which products are shipped from Italy * Which products are shipped from the GCC * Separate shipping charges * Separate shipment status * Separate tracking information when available The order-confirmation and shipment emails should explain that products may arrive separately. Suggested notice: “Your order contains products supplied from different locations. The products will be shipped separately, and you will receive separate tracking updates for each shipment.” 9. Inventory Locations The correct Shopify inventory or fulfilment locations must be configured for Italian and GCC-supplied products. Inventory must be deducted from the correct location when an order is placed. The system should also support adding multiple GCC suppliers in the future. 10. Design and Compatibility The new sections must match the existing Gallerias luxury brand identity and work properly on desktop, tablet and mobile. The work must not negatively affect: * Existing Italian products * Current shipping rates * Supplier synchronization * Existing checkout * Store speed * Search and filters * Mobile responsiveness Testing Requirements The developer must test: * GCC customer purchasing only Italian products * GCC customer purchasing only GCC products * GCC customer purchasing both product types * Customer outside the GCC attempting to buy GCC products * Customer changing the delivery country at checkout * Correct Italian shipping calculation * Correct 5 KWD GCC shipping calculation * Correct combined shipping for mixed carts * Correct order separation and supplier routing * Correct inventory deduction * Separate fulfilment and tracking updates * Order-confirmation and supplier notifications * Desktop and mobile functionality Deliverables * Two functional Perfumes and Beauty sections * GCC-only product availability * Product and supplier classification structure * Flat 5 KWD GCC shipping configuration * Combined shipping calculation for mixed carts * Split-order or split-fulfilment workflow * Correct supplier order routing * Separate tracking and fulfilment process * Updated customer notifications * Full testing and bug fixing * Documentation or recorded walkthrough explaining how to: * Add GCC products * Assign products to suppliers * Add future GCC suppliers * Change the GCC shipping rate * Manage inventory locations * Process and track mixed orders Application Requirements Please include: 1. Important Notes * This is an existing live Shopify store. * The current Italian shipping and supplier workflow must remain unchanged. * This project is not limited to creating collections or designing pages. * Correct shipping calculation, GCC restrictions, supplier routing and split fulfilment are essential. * No paid application may be installed without our approval. * The final setup must allow our team to add GCC products and suppliers without hiring a developer each time.
