Shopify Developer Needed — Cigar Website Fixes & Build-Out (Punchlist) We have an existing Shopify store (cigar retailer) that's roughly 80% complete. We need an experienced Shopify developer to finish the remaining work and fix several issues. Details below. 1. Catalogue Page — Filters & Variants (MOST IMPORTANT) When a customer clicks into the catalogue, we need: - Every product filterable by strength — spelled out in full: Medium, Full, Medium-Plus - Every product filterable by size in the catalog - Ring gauge added to every product - Variant selectors showing availability, price, and strength on each product - The filter section on the left side must be solid/fully exposed at all times — not a fold-out/accordion, everything visible by default - Filters should be sticky (stay visible while scrolling) 2. Strength "Pills" on Products (IMPORTANT) - Add pill/badge functionality to each product showing its strength filter value directly on the product (e.g., if a cigar is Medium+ strength, a small "Medium+" pill should display on that product). Pill should automatically reflect whichever strength value is assigned to that product. 3. Header Sizing -The current header is too large and pushes the first row of products too far down the page. Needs to be shrunk so products are visible higher up on load. 4. Homepage — "Shop by Category" Section -Add a "Shop by Category" section to the homepage (not a standalone page) with the following categories: Cigars Humidors Accessories Samplers Sale We have a mockup showing the exact look we want, and we've already started a custom Liquid code file for this — you'll be given access to it upon award. The final section needs to match the mockup closely. 5. Homepage — Purple Info Box -Add the purple box from the mockup highlighting fast shipping, etc. (matches mockup design/copy). 6. Product Photos - All cigar product photos are currently cropped inconsistently — need to be uncropped (or re-cropped consistently) so the product grid looks clean and even across every listing. - We have a Dropbox folder with updated product photos. Go through every product and update photos, especially products with boxes/packaging shots that may currently be missing from the site. - If a product photo isn't available in the Dropbox folder, AI-generated images can be used as placeholders in the meantime. 7. Rebuild Collections from Old Site All collections from our previous website need to be rebuilt and updated on the new Shopify site. In addition, create 4 new strength-based collections: Medium Medium+ Full Full to Medium 8. Finish Remaining Content (Site is 90% Complete) - The new site needs to match the old website's information/content. Site is about 90% migrated — the remaining 10% (roughly 30 products) still needs descriptions completed. All other product descriptions have already been filled in. For these remaining 30 products, copy the descriptions directly from the old site and make sure they match exactly. 9. Social Media - Copy over all social media content/links and connect the social channels to the site. Platform: Shopify (Liquid) Timeline: 1 week (bonus $ offered for early completion) Access: Store/site access, Dropbox photo folder, and custom Liquid file will be shared upon award of the project.
