I need my Shopify checkout to pull live shipping costs from my logistics partner’s API and pass the final amount through Razorpay before the customer completes payment. The API documentation is already in hand, so you can dive straight into development without hunting for specs. Here’s the flow I want: • Customer enters their address → API returns location-based shipping options → a preliminary estimate appears in the cart or first checkout screen. • On the payment step, the script calls the API again (or confirms the earlier call) to lock in the exact charge, adds it to the order total, and hands everything off to Razorpay for collection. Key requirements • Custom rule: rates vary only by delivery location; weight or size don’t matter today. • The solution must sit seamlessly inside Shopify’s standard checkout (no external redirects) and respect Shopify Plus/Shopify Payments constraints. • Code needs to be clean, documented, and easy for me to tweak if we add new zones or change API keys later. • Please test in a development store and supply a quick walkthrough or loom video so I can see the setup in action.
