Shopify Store Build & Go-Live Project IT Clearance Company Overview I have a new Shopify store for IT Clearance Company, an Australian online retailer of computer hardware and IT products. The store is partially set up, but I need an experienced Shopify freelancer to: Complete the theme configuration Build key pages Create a professional product template Configure shipping, payments and tax settings Prepare the store for launch Perform end-to-end testing This is primarily a Shopify configuration and design project. Custom coding should only be used where necessary. Existing Assets I already have: Shopify store created Logo Theme installed Mockup products loaded Product feed solution being implemented separately Content for pages (provided below) The product feed supplier is expected to go live shortly and is not part of this project. Design Requirements Using my supplied homepage mockup as inspiration: Home Page Must include: Announcement bar Hero slider/banner Trust icons Featured products section Schools & Councils quote section Payment logos Trust/security banners Professional footer Mobile responsive design Desktop responsive design Additional Requirement The entire "Request a Quote" banner should be clickable and link directly to the Contact Us page. Content Pages Required Create and format the following pages: About Us FAQ Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy Contact Us Privacy Policy Schools & Councils (placeholder page) Contact Page Requirements Professional contact form Form submissions sent to: (as per doc) Product Template & Feed Readiness This is one of the most important parts of the project. Create a professional product page template using: HP ZBook Ultra 14 G1a BG1Q5PT as the sample product. Reference: https://www.lmc.com.au/hp-zbook-ultra-14-g1a-bg1q5pt Requirements Professional layout suitable for a computer hardware store Product image gallery Specifications section Long description section Warranty section Mobile responsive Desktop responsive Trust elements Clear call-to-action Feed Compatibility Requirements The store will soon receive product data via an automated feed. The template must be designed so that imported products automatically inherit the same layout and styling. Products supplied by the feed are expected to contain: Product name Product images Short description Long description Specifications (if available) Brand and category information The freelancer should recommend and configure Shopify fields, metafields, or theme blocks where appropriate to ensure future imports display correctly without manual intervention. The goal is to have a catalog of 10,000+ products automatically populated while maintaining a consistent professional appearance. Important: Product feed integration itself is NOT part of this project. The store must be prepared so future imported products display correctly using the template created. Payments Setup Configure and test: Shopify Payments Including: Visa Mastercard Apple Pay Google Pay PayPal Connect and test. EFT / Bank Transfer Configure as manual payment method. PayID Configure as manual payment method. Shipping Setup Configure Australia-wide shipping. The wording throughout the site should be updated from: Air Freight to Fast Delivery Australia Wide Provide recommendations and configuration for either: Option A Postcode-based shipping rates Option B Starshipit integration with StarTrack Express Quote separately for any Starshipit work if required. GST & Tax Setup Configure: Australian GST Correct tax settings Checkout tax calculations Tax-inclusive pricing where appropriate Email & Store Configuration Configure: Order confirmation emails Shipping notifications Customer notifications Store contact details Support email address Brand styling preferred where possible. Go-Live Preparation Complete and test: Test checkout Test payment methods Test shipping calculations Test customer emails Test contact form Basic QA review of the store Store should be ready to accept live orders upon completion. Notes Store will ultimately contain 10,000+ products via automated feeds. Feed integration is being handled separately. Experience with larger Shopify catalogs is preferred. Please clearly identify any exclusions from your quote. Proposal Requirements Please provide: Fixed project price Estimated hours Delivery timeframe Examples of Shopify stores you have worked on Detailed inclusions/exclusions Recommended Shopify apps Any assumptions made in your quote Please explain how many hours you have allocated to each major deliverable. Quotes without a rough hours breakdown will not be considered.
