I regularly shoot vertical footage and want to turn it into scroll-stopping Reels and YouTube Shorts that feel seamless rather than frantic. Every clip needs to be paced naturally, stitched together with smooth transitions and tasteful motion graphics, then exported in 1080p (9:16) so I can upload straight to Instagram and YouTube without further tweaks. What you’ll work with • Raw smartphone or mirrorless footage (30–60 s total per piece) • Brand assets, fonts, and preferred color palette • Reference links showing the relaxed yet engaging flow I’m after Editing approach 1. Trim unnecessary dead time while preserving story flow. 2. Apply color correction, light grading, and basic audio cleanup. 3. Add smooth cross-dissolves, whip-pans, or match-cuts—no rapid-fire edits. 4. Incorporate subtitles and on-brand graphic elements where they enhance clarity. 5. Deliver a ready-to-post .mp4 plus the project file for tweaks later. Acceptance criteria • Final video: 1080 × 1920, ≤60 s, H.264, <100 MB • All transitions render cleanly on mobile devices without stutter. • Text remains readable on both light and dark UIs. • Audio peaks below –1 dB, free of hiss or clipping.
