I need an experienced bookkeeper who already feels comfortable working inside SOHO Books. My accounts are up to date in theory but, in practice, the details don’t balance and the paperwork keeps piling up. Your main focus will be core bookkeeping, not tax work or high-level analysis. Here’s exactly what I’d like you to take over: • Data entry – get every invoice, receipt, and payment captured and coded correctly inside SOHO Books. • Reconciliation – bring all bank and credit-card feeds to a clean, reconciled zero at the end of each month. • Accounts payable/receivable – track open bills and invoices, flag anything overdue, and prepare simple aging reports so I always know where cash is tied up. Access to SOHO Books and the current chart of accounts is ready; I’ll provide bank feeds, historical statements, and any source documents you need via a shared drive. A typical month involves roughly 150 transactions across two bank accounts and one credit card. I’m happy to schedule a quick onboarding call to walk through my current workflow, then I’d like you to run with it independently and deliver a reconciled set of books each month. Acceptance criteria: all transactions coded, statements reconciled to the cent, and an updated A/P and A/R summary by the agreed monthly deadline.
