Solana Execution Layer Engineer

Descripción de la oferta
I am wiring a low-latency path from trading signal to on-chain fill and I need a developer who lives and breathes Rust to extend this engine on Solana. The core of the job is to sit between my strategy layer and the DEX/RPC world, guaranteeing fast, safe, and observable execution even when an RPC node stalls or a venue partially fills an order. What you’ll actually code • A Rust micro-service that submits, tracks, and reconciles Solana transactions in sub-second time • Pre-trade risk and position checks that fire before any instruction leaves the box • A transaction state machine that copes with partial fills, dropped slots, and automatic reconnects • Hardened API key handling—strictly read/trade, never withdrawal Acceptance criteria • End-to-end latency from REST call to confirmed fill stays below 300 ms under normal network conditions • All failure branches (dropped RPC, partial fill, bad nonce) surface a structured error and retry path • Unit and integration tests cover 90 % of execution logic, stubbing Solana RPC where appropriate • Prometheus or equivalent metrics export for every critical stage: submit, confirm, reconcile Tech expectations Rust is non-negotiable for the hot path; if you also speak Go or Python that’s a plus for peripheral tooling, but the deliverable ships in Rust. Experience with trading bots, market data feeds, or any real-time financial system will stand out. When you reply, focus on the experience you have shipping production-grade execution or market-data services—links to repos, write-ups of incidents you’ve solved, or metrics you’ve hit are perfect. If this sounds like your domain, let’s push some blocks together.
