I run a small legal practice and need ongoing, part-time support from someone who speaks and writes both English and Spanish with equal confidence. Most of my clients are bilingual and many of the source documents arrive in Spanish, so fluid, idiom-free translation in both directions is essential to keep cases moving smoothly. Your core responsibilities will be: • Drafting legal documents – petitions, motions, affidavits, simple contracts, and correspondence, formatted to U.S. court standards and delivered in editable Word files. • Client communication – answering routine questions by email or phone in the client’s preferred language, scheduling appointments, and keeping our case management portal updated. • Case research – pulling statutes, locating precedent, and preparing concise research memos with proper Bluebook citations. If you have experience e-filing or preparing bilingual client intake forms, that’s a bonus I value.
