Descripción de la oferta

I am completing an M.Tech thesis centred on a spiral-tube heat exchanger and I need a professional design-and-analysis package that I can defend academically. The exchanger must achieve three simultaneous goals: higher heat-transfer efficiency, lower pressure drop, and a compact footprint. The model has to treat water loaded with Al₂O₃ nanoparticles as the working fluid, so please include its temperature-dependent properties throughout the calculations. Scope of work • Build a 3-D CAD model of the spiral-tube heat exchanger, specifying all key dimensions, materials, coil pitch and baffles. • Run CFD (ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics, or an equivalent solver you are comfortable with) to predict temperature fields, overall heat-transfer coefficient and pressure drop. • Optimise the geometry iteratively until the best balance of efficiency, pressure loss and size is reached. • Document the procedure in a concise report with contour plots, tables, and comparison to a straight-tube baseline. • Hand over editable CAD files, simulation files, and the final report in Word/PDF. Acceptance criteria The final design must demonstrate at least a 15 % improvement in heat-transfer coefficient over the baseline, keep pressure drop under the limit I will share after award, and fit within the lab rig envelope I will provide.
