I need an experienced Square specialist to configure a brand-new POS environment for my equipment rental business. The priority is to make day-to-day rentals flow smoothly while keeping tight control over stock, customers, and payments. Scope of work • Build my Square item catalog so every rental item is tracked, priced, and searchable, including variations, security-deposit fields, and real-time availability. • Enable dependable inventory management that updates automatically when items go out and come back. • Set up customer profiles to capture contact info, rental history, and any notes that help with repeat business. • Configure payment processing for in-store card, Apple/Google Pay, and saved cards on file so checkout is quick and deposits are easy to refund. • Fine-tune taxes, discounts, and late-fee rules to match our current policies. • Walk me through the dashboard so I can pull inventory and revenue reports without help. Acceptance criteria 1. All rental items show correct stock counts after a test check-out/check-in cycle. 2. A test customer transaction records properly and is visible in the customer timeline. 3. Payments, refunds, and deposits process without errors on the Square terminal and in the back-office dashboard.
