My MailCOPA installation freezes every few hours, and the lock-ups always occur while mail is being sent or received. A full restart clears the issue temporarily, but I need a lasting fix so the client can run continuously without hanging. While you are in the system, I also want to reclaim space by safely removing old emails. The goal is to keep recent mail intact and trim away anything that is no longer needed, ideally without touching my existing folder structure or losing attachments I still require. What I need you to do • Diagnose why MailCOPA stalls during send/receive and implement a permanent correction—whether that involves settings changes, repairing a database, or applying an update. • Create a clean, tested procedure (scripted or manual) that deletes or archives mail older than the cut-off date we agree on, with a full backup taken beforehand. • Leave me with a short, plain-English report outlining what was changed, how the cleanup was performed, and any maintenance steps I should follow in the future. If you have direct experience with MailCOPA internals, Windows email store repair, or related database utilities, please mention it so I know you understand the quirks of this client.
