Descripción de la oferta
# Embedded Firmware Developer (STM32) for Industrial IoT Data Logger We are looking for an experienced **Embedded Firmware Developer** to develop firmware for an **Industrial IoT Data Logger** based on **STM32**. The device will be used in industrial SCADA applications to collect data from PLCs, temporarily store data during network outages, and automatically synchronize the stored data to an MQTT Broker once the connection is restored. This project is intended for long-term industrial deployment, so reliability, code quality, and maintainability are very important. ## Scope of Work Develop STM32 firmware with the following features: * Ethernet communication * Modbus TCP Client * MQTT Client (QoS 1) * Store-and-Forward mechanism (FIFO) * Local data storage on MicroSD * Automatic Ethernet reconnection * Automatic MQTT reconnection * RTC and/or NTP time synchronization * Hardware Watchdog support * Configuration file support (without recompiling firmware) * UART debug logging ## Hardware All hardware will be provided by us. You are **NOT** required to design any hardware or PCB. The hardware includes: * STM32 Development Board * Ethernet Interface * MicroSD Card * RTC Module * 24VDC Power Supply (through DC-DC converter) * Status LEDs Your responsibility is **firmware development only**. ## Technical Requirements Preferred experience with: * STM32CubeIDE * STM32 HAL * FreeRTOS * LwIP * MQTT * Modbus TCP * FATFS * Ethernet Networking * Embedded C * Git (preferred) ## Deliverables The selected freelancer must provide: * Complete source code * STM32CubeIDE project * Compiled firmware (.bin) * Build instructions * Configuration documentation * Well-structured and documented source code ## Project Milestones The project will be completed in several milestones: 1. Ethernet communication 2. Modbus TCP Client 3. Local data logging (MicroSD) 4. MQTT communication 5. Store-and-Forward (FIFO) 6. System testing and debugging Each milestone will be reviewed and approved before proceeding to the next stage. ## Ownership All source code, firmware, documentation, and intellectual property developed during this project will become the exclusive property of our company upon final payment. ## Application Requirements When submitting your proposal, please include: * A brief introduction about yourself. * Your experience with STM32 projects. * Previous projects involving Ethernet, MQTT, Modbus, or Industrial IoT. * Which STM32 series you recommend for this application and why. * Your estimated development timeline. * Your expected project cost. Candidates with proven experience in industrial embedded systems, communication protocols, and reliable firmware architecture will be given priority.
