We provide fractional HR, fractional finance, executive coaching, and workplace mediation services to nonprofits, startups, and mission-driven organizations, using our proprietary Empathy Bridge Framework. Alongside our consulting work, our founder speaks, writes, and trains on emotional intelligence, and has built a growing library of books, workbooks, and programs. Position Overview We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Marketing Consultant to own and grow our marketing presence, not just execute tasks handed to you, but help shape the plan behind them. You will manage our social media channels, weekly newsletter, and blog, produce light video content, and bring ideas for how to use those channels to drive sales of our books, workbooks, trainings, and consulting services. This is a part-time, ongoing contractor role scoped to monthly deliverables, with room to grow as our marketing budget grows. Monthly Scope Blog posts published: 2–4 Newsletter issues sent: 4 (weekly) Social posts scheduled across all channels: 12–16 Short-form video reels (Canva or CapCut templates): 2–4 Promotional and design assets created: 2–4 Strategy check-ins with the Business Development team: 4 (via Slack or call) Performance report covering social, newsletter, and SEO: 1 Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy Recommend a monthly content and promotion plan across social, newsletter, blog, and video aimed at driving sales. Identify which channels and campaign types are worth testing based on performance data. Bring ideas for new or underused marketing channels or partnerships. Propose messaging angles tied to product launches, book milestones, and service offerings. Social Media Management Own day-to-day management of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, including designing and scheduling posts in Canva. Develop and adjust content strategy based on engagement trends. Monitor comments and messages, responding or flagging within 24 hours. Deliver a monthly engagement and growth report with recommendations. Video and Reels Create 2–4 short-form video reels per month using Canva or CapCut templates. Repurpose existing training, workbook, or book content into short video clips. Track which reels drive engagement or conversions. Newsletter Management Draft, format, and send a weekly email newsletter in Mailchimp or HubSpot. Segment and maintain subscriber lists. Track open and click rates and recommend improvements. Content, Blog and SEO Support Format and publish blog posts to the Wix Blog on a set schedule. Repurpose existing content into social captions and newsletter segments. Apply on-page SEO best practices (keywords, meta descriptions, alt text, internal linking). Monitor SEO performance and flag opportunities monthly. Maintain the content calendar in Monday.com or Trello. B2B Marketing and Outreach Support Support email marketing sequences and list management. Help prepare marketing one-pagers, sales materials, and RFP-supporting content. Assist with outreach tracking to referral partners, HR leaders, and ERGs. Design and Promotional Materials Create flyers, one-pagers, and promotional graphics in Canva for trainings, services, and product launches. Compensation Base retainer of $500 USD/month for the scope above. Uncapped bonus opportunities are available, tied to qualified, traceable referrals and results, including bonuses for booked discovery calls, product sales, coaching and consulting referrals, and growth/conversion milestones. Full bonus structure will be shared with candidates who move forward. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in social media management with a strategic component, able to speak to what drove results in past roles. Comfort creating short-form video content using templated tools (Canva or CapCut). Working knowledge of basic SEO and email newsletter platforms (Mailchimp or HubSpot). Proficiency in Canva; comfortable learning Wix, and Trello or Monday.com. Strong written English and the ability to adapt to an established brand voice. Self-directed and reliable working asynchronously across time zones. Experience supporting a coaching, consulting, wellness, or mission-driven brand, or marketing books/digital products, is a plus. Work Arrangement Fully remote; open to candidates from any country. Engaged as an independent contractor, responsible for own local taxes and compliance. Flexible, self-managed schedule with a light weekly check-in via Slack. Paid monthly via Wise.
