Structural Review for my Project

Descripción de la oferta
I have a completed CAD model for structure and now need a qualified Mechanical/Structural Engineer to perform an independent safety review. The goal is to confirm the design’s integrity and readiness for real-world use in harsh Canadian winters. Key points you will assess • Environmental loads: heavy snowfall, extreme cold temperatures, and high winds. • Compliance: all calculations and recommendations must satisfy current Canadian Building Codes. • Structural soundness: verify member sizing, connections, material selections, and any fatigue-critical details. • Practical constructability: flag areas that may be difficult or costly to fabricate or erect. Preferred scope of work 1. Run your own calculations and, if helpful, an FEA simulation (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent) to validate stresses, deflections, and factors of safety. 2. Provide a concise engineering report summarizing assumptions, load cases, calculations, and clear pass/fail conclusions. 3. Include a punch list of recommended changes or optimisations, ranked by priority. 4. Be available for one follow-up round of questions or minor tweaks to the report. All native files, worksheets, or analysis outputs you generate remain part of the deliverable. If you have direct experience with Canadian infrastructure projects and winter load design, let me know—examples of previous similar reviews will weigh heavily in selection.
