I have a structured dataset in Excel/CSV format that first needs a careful clean-up—removing duplicates, fixing missing values, standardising column types—before moving on to analysis. Once the data are reliable, I want to explore them to spot meaningful trends and recurring patterns. Think of what you would normally do in an exploratory data analysis: descriptive statistics, correlation checks, simple feature engineering when it adds clarity, and then the visual story told through clear charts and graphs. Preferred tools are flexible; Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) or R (dplyr, ggplot2) work equally well, and I am happy to discuss alternatives if they speed up the workflow or improve visual impact. Deliverables • A cleaned dataset in the original file format • Reproducible code or notebook documenting each cleaning and analysis step • A concise slide deck or PDF summarising key findings • High-resolution charts/graphs (PNG/SVG) ready for presentation and for embedding in reports I’ll review the notebook and visual outputs to confirm that the cleaning steps are transparent, the narrative around trends is clear and supported by statistics, and every figure is labelled and easy to interpret.
