What we're looking forWe’re hiring a Product Owner – KYC to work directly with our founders and build our customer verification product function from the ground up. You’ll lead a cross-functional product team focused on customer onboarding, identity verification, and ongoing due diligence, delivering measurable impact through smart, data-driven analyses.You’ll thrive in this role if you love solving complex problems, can translate regulatory and operational needs into product solutions, and enjoy working at the intersection of product, compliance, operations, and engineering.What you'll be doingOwn the product vision and roadmap for customer onboarding, identity verification, and ongoing due diligence.Lead a team of engineers and other cross-functional partners to design, deliver, and refine verification journeys, decisioning rules, and KYC systems.Define and track KPIs like verification completion rate, onboarding conversion, manual review rate, and time-to-verification.Turn regulatory requirements, customer risk profiles, and operational needs into clear product specifications.Continuously improve our KYC capabilities based on customer feedback, operational insights, and evolving regulatory requirements.What you'll needProven product experience in fintech, payments, or KYC / customer identity verification.Strong track record delivering data-driven products with engineering and analytics teams.Strong SQL or Python skills, with hands-on experience using data to analyse performance, identify problems, and inform product decisions.Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting onboarding, verification, and operational performance metrics.Ability to balance regulatory requirements and risk management with a great customer experience.Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-paced startup.Nice-to-havesExperience in Latin American markets.Spanish or Portuguese language skills.Experience scaling a KYC product from 0 to hundreds of thousands or millions of customers.Previous experience in software engineering, data analytics, or another technical role.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits Stock options, so you own part of what you buildDiscretionary performance bonusThe latest tools and technologyA world-class team that will challenge and grow your skillsThe opportunity to help build the best fintech app in Latin AmericaOffice Policy: 3-4 days a week in-officeFind Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
