Job Description: Telegram Ads & Growth Executive – iGaming (India Market) Job Title: Telegram Marketing Executive / Telegram Ads & Community Manager Location: Srilanka or Remote Department: Marketing / Growth Reports To: Marketing Manager / Growth Head Employment Type: Full-time ________________________________________ About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Telegram Marketing Executive to own our Telegram-based user acquisition and community engagement strategy for the India market. This role blends performance marketing (running paid Telegram ads in-house), community management (Telegram groups/channels), and light technical build-out (bots and mini apps). You'll also act as the internal point of contact for external agencies managing paid Telegram campaigns on our behalf. Key Responsibilities ● Run Telegram Ads In-House: Plan, launch, and optimize paid ad campaigns directly on Telegram Ads platform (Telegram Ad Network) targeting the India market — audience targeting, budget allocation, creative testing, and performance tracking. ● Group & Channel Management: Create, grow, and manage Telegram groups/channels — moderation, engagement strategy, content calendar, and retention activities to keep communities active and compliant. ● Bot Development: Build and maintain Telegram bots for use cases such as onboarding, promotions, customer support, referral tracking, or automated engagement. ● Mini App Development: Design and develop Telegram Mini Apps to enhance user experience and drive engagement/conversion within Telegram itself. ● Agency Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison with external agencies running Telegram ad campaigns — briefing, performance reviews, budget tracking, and ensuring alignment with brand and compliance guidelines. ● Reporting & Optimization: Track KPIs (CPA, CPI, CTR, retention, group growth, activation rates) and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights. ● Compliance Awareness: Stay updated on Telegram's advertising policies and India's regulatory landscape around online gaming/betting advertising, ensuring campaigns and content stay within acceptable guidelines. Required Skills & Experience ● 3–4 years total experience in digital marketing / performance marketing / growth roles. ● 1–2 years of hands-on experience specifically running Telegram Ads (not just Telegram community management). ● Working knowledge of Python (for bot development, automation scripts, or basic data handling). ● Experience creating and managing Telegram bots (using Bot API, or frameworks like aiogram/python-telegram-bot). ● Experience with Telegram Mini Apps (Telegram Web Apps SDK) is a strong plus. ● Strong understanding of the India digital market — user behavior, language/cultural nuances, and platform trends. ● Prior experience in the iGaming/betting/casino industry is a significant advantage. ● Comfortable working with agencies/vendors and managing multiple stakeholders. ● Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to measure campaign performance. Good to Have ● Experience with other paid channels (Meta Ads, Google UAC) for cross-channel context. ● Basic understanding of affiliate/CPA marketing models common in iGaming. ● Familiarity with anti-fraud/bot-detection practices for community management.
