This project calls for a gentle, adventure-themed picture book designed specifically for babies and toddlers (0-3 years). The story should be engaging yet soothing, filled with rhythmic repetition, playful sounds, and age-appropriate vocabulary that suits a cozy read-aloud session. Aim for no more than 300 words in total, ideally spread across 12–14 double-page spreads to match typical board-book formatting. Although I’ll hire an illustrator separately, the manuscript must include concise art notes that guide a future artist toward simple sketches—bold outlines, high contrast, and minimal detail that reproduce well on sturdy board pages. Deliverables • Complete manuscript in Word or Google Docs • Page-by-page layout with suggested text placement • Illustration notes for each spread describing the simple-sketch concept Acceptance Criteria • Central focus on a light, positive adventure; no real danger or complex plot • Language tailored to 0-3 years: short sentences, familiar words, rhythmic flow • ≤300 words total • Art notes align with the requested simple-sketch style
