I’m putting together an educational picture-book for little ones aged 0-3 that gently introduces numbers and counting. I already have the concept; what I need from you is a complete, ready-to-illustrate manuscript that keeps toddlers engaged while guiding parents through early numeracy. Focus • Age group: 0-3 years • Core goal: make counting feel like play • Theme: Educational, centred strictly on Numbers and counting Story expectations Keep the language rhythmic, repetitive and warm, around 300–400 words in total, broken into clear spreads (please mark page breaks). Sensory words, onomatopoeia and predictable patterns are welcome so babies can chime in. Every page should revolve around a single numeral—ideally 1-10—pairing it with tangible objects a toddler can picture or point at. Illustration guidance While I’ll hire an artist separately, I need a short note under each spread suggesting simple visuals (e.g., “Three bright balloons floating”). Think bold colours, large shapes, plenty of white space—nothing too busy for tiny eyes. Deliverables 1. Final manuscript (DOCX + PDF) with page breaks. 2. Page-by-page illustration brief (1–2 lines each). 3. One-page explanatory note describing the educational approach and ways caregivers can reinforce counting during read-aloud time. Acceptance The text must be original, age-appropriate, and free of rhyme-scheme errors or cultural stereotypes. Once delivered, I’ll review within 48 hours and request one revision set if needed.
