I have already modelled and drafted the tie-in system for three tower cranes and produced the accompanying shop drawings. What I now require is a seasoned structural engineer to give the study a thorough check, close any technical gaps, and issue the final documents I can submit to the client and the site team. Scope of the review The core of the assignment is to validate every structural aspect of the ties—confirming the load paths, verifying the adequacy of each tie-in point on the building, and checking that the material selections and grades match both code and manufacturer limits. My existing shop drawings, connection details, and preliminary notes will be at your disposal from day one. Deliverables • Signed and referenced load calculations (crane and building actions, wind, accidental loads, safety factors, etc.) • Mark-ups or red-lined comments on the current shop drawings highlighting any required changes to tie-in points • Updated, clean set of shop drawings incorporating those changes (DWG and PDF) • Brief material specification table confirming steel grades, bolts, welding and any protective coatings • Short validation memo summarising assumptions, standards followed, and conclusions Acceptance criteria All calculations must comply with the governing code we agree on (EN 1993 / AISC / local standard) and clearly reference manufacturer data. Drawings should be build-ready, free of clashes, and formatted to the title block template I provide. Timeline & collaboration I can make myself available for quick clarifications and will turn around any additional information you request within 24 hours. Ideally, I would like the complete package within one week of project start, but let me know if you foresee a different realistic timeframe.
