Hi, I’d like you to review an existing project called Trade Compass. The platform is approximately 85–90% complete, and I’m looking for someone who can review the existing codebase, identify issues, and help bring it to production quality. The platform is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and is deployed using Railway and Vercel. It integrates with SnapTrade for brokerage connections and currently supports Webull. Current Issues 1. Master Trader Dashboard * The master trader account is connected to Webull, but the dashboard displays a balance of $0.00. * The dashboard should display the live portfolio value, buying power, cash balance, open positions, and open orders pulled from the brokerage API. 2. Brokerage Synchronization * I need someone to review the SnapTrade/Webull integration to ensure brokerage accounts stay synchronized correctly. * Verify that balances, positions, and account information update consistently. 3. Admin Dashboard Several admin actions are currently only UI placeholders and need backend implementation, including: * Delete User * Suspend/Reactivate User * Disconnect Broker * Reconnect Broker * Force Broker Sync * Reset Password * Assign/Remove Master Trader * Pause/Resume Copy Trading 4. Broker Display The Connected Brokers page currently shows multiple Webull accounts but doesn’t clearly identify which user owns each brokerage account. Each broker connection should display: * User Name * Broker Name * Account Type * Last 4 digits of the account * Balance * Buying Power * Connection Status * Last Sync Time 5. User & Follower Management Review the user management flow to ensure: * Followers are correctly assigned to master traders. * Copy trading relationships remain accurate. * User status updates properly throughout the platform. 6. Error Handling Replace placeholder or generic messages with meaningful production-ready error handling and improve logging to make debugging easier. 7. General Code Review I’m looking for someone who can: * Review the overall architecture. * Identify performance bottlenecks. * Clean up technical debt where appropriate. * Improve backend reliability. * Ensure the application is production-ready.
