I’m building a small, revenue-sharing team that tackles ongoing AI model-training and data-annotation work on platforms such as Snorkel AI and Outlier AI. Because many of our source datasets are controlled under U.S. regulations, every collaborator must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work inside the United States. Here’s how the collaboration works: • Scope of work You and I will co-design label functions, curate and annotate data, run iterative model training, and track performance metrics. Most tasks live inside Snorkel AI or Outlier AI, with occasional Python notebooks for custom preprocessing or evaluation. • Skill expectations A basic understanding of AI, data labeling, or machine learning is perfectly acceptable; I can mentor you on platform-specific features. Prior exposure to both data-labeling and AI-model-training projects is a strong plus and will let you ramp up faster. • Logistics Steady availability and a reliable internet connection are vital because we push updates frequently. Communication is largely asynchronous via Slack, with a short sync call each week. • Compensation model Instead of a one-off fee, we split revenue generated from each contract we fulfill together. Milestone percentages are agreed in writing before kickoff so both of us share upside proportionally to effort. Deliverables for each assignment 1. A clean, version-controlled dataset with completed annotations. 2. Documented label functions or labeling guidelines. 3. A trained model checkpoint plus brief evaluation report.
